Play in the Park

What is Play in the Park?

Play in the Park Cincinnati is a free, volunteer driven community initiative that brings neighbors together through art, music, food, and shared experiences. Held each summer at Kennedy Heights Park, the weekly event series creates opportunities for people of all ages to connect, build relationships, and enjoy one of our community's greatest shared spaces.

More than just a summer event, Play in the Park is a celebration of creativity, belonging, and the belief that vibrant public spaces help create stronger, safer neighborhoods.

Who Makes It Happen?

Play in the Park is organized by a dedicated committee of volunteers representing Kennedy Heights Arts Center, Kennedy Heights Community Council, Pleasant Ridge Community Council, Cincinnati Parks, and other community partners. Each season is made possible through the generosity of local artists, musicians, educators, performers, businesses, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and neighborhood organizations who donate their time, talents, and resources to create unforgettable evenings in the park.

Together, these partnerships transform Kennedy Heights Park into a welcoming gathering place where everyone is invited to participate.
